Sports Desk, Bangladesh Global: The Argentina national team dominated in their 3-0 win vs. El Salvador. Argentina won their first match of 2024 with three goals scored by players from the Premier League. Angel Di Maria took a corner kick and it was Cristian Romero who scored off a header to give Argentina the 1-0 lead. Lionel Scaloni’s team scored a second before the second half. A great team goal down and a ball played into the penalty area off the wing fell to Enzo Fernandez who scored from close range.
Scaloni made two changes at half time with Alejandro Garnacho and Nicolas Otamendi substituted in for Nicolas Gonzalez and Enzo Fernandez. Argentina would score one more goal. Arguably the goal of the match, Gio Lo Celso was at the end of a quick passing play and he scored for Argentina. Valentin Barco made his Argentina debut, substituted in for Nicolas Tagliafico. Facundo Buonanotte, Nahuel Molina and Alexis Mac Allister were all substituted in for Rodrigo De Paul, Cristian Romero and Gio Lo Celso.
