Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: A writ has been filed with the High Court seeking permission to conduct political activities at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
BCL central committee leader and BUET student Imtiaz Hossain Rahim Rabbi lodged the petition with the concerned branch of the High Court on Monday.
Education secretary, BUET VC and some concerned authorities have been made respondents in the writ.
Student politics was banned on the campus after the murder of Abrar Fahad, a second-year student by members of Bangladesh Chhatra League at the university's Sher-e-Bangla Hall on October 7, 2019.
