Entertainment Desk, Bangladesh Global: Tollywood actress Paoli Dam will be seen again in a Bangladeshi film titled 'Neel Jotsna'. Bangladesh's famous filmmaker Fakhrul Arefin Khan is making the film based on the parapsychology novel 'Neel Jotsner Jibon' by Mostaque Ahmed. Paoli Dam will play the lead role in this project as "Laila".
A formal contract signing ceremony was held between the actress and filmmaker Fakhrul Arefin at Decalogue Management Center in Kolkata on Wednesday. Who will play opposite Paoli is yet to be finalised. The maker said that a Bangladeshi actor will be seen opposite Paoli.
Talking about acting in a Bangladeshi film again, Paoli Dam said, "Director Fakhrul Arefin Khan contacted me about this film last year. First I heard the story from him, as I haven't read that book. After I read the book, I liked it. To be honest, parallel universes have not been dealt with in Bengali. There have been some films in Hollywood. So I'm looking forward to it."
