Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: A joint support team of the Bangladesh Army and the Bangladesh Air Force and a helicopter are working to control the fire in the capital's Bangabazar, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The fire service received information about the fire at 6:10 this morning and 47 units of fire service are working to bring the fire under control.
A few businessmen of Bangabazar were seen at the spot. The fire service said that most of the shops in Bangabazar were burnt into ashes in the fire.
Rashedul Alam Khan, Assistant Director of ISPR, said that the combined assistance team of the army is working immediately after the start of the massive fire. Besides, an Air Force support team and a helicopter are working there.
