New Delhi, Bangladesh Global: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is considering legal action against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders following allegations by Delhi minister Atishi that the agency deleted audio clips during an investigation into money laundering, according to sources.

Minister Atishi, who addressed the media on Tuesday to reveal an "explosive expose", alleged that the central agency "deleted" audio recording of witness statements in certain cases, including the excise policy probe, being investigated against AAP functionaries.

She also alleged that "it has also come to light that there is fraud in the testimony" in the money laundering case linked with th Delhi excise policy case and she challenged the agency to produce the CCTV videos in front of the court.

"In two years of investigation, not even Rs 1 has been recovered. The ED has not found even a single solid piece of evidence. His entire case rests only on statements, and now it has also come to light that there is fraud in the testimony. To hide this fraud, the ED is now deleting the audio recording of the CCTV footage," the minister alleged.

She asked, "What does the ED want to hide? How many statements have the ED taken, how many have been recorded in the CCTV, and how many of them have audio?," she asked.
